What is 2E (Twice-Exceptional)?

Flyer Twice-Exceptional (2E) refers to those who are both highly capable and neurodivergent. Please join us as Karen Herdzik, Ph.D., ABPP, will describe characteristics and common challenges of 2E children, and recommendations for caregivers and educators for supporting children who are 2E.

About the Presenter: Karen Herdzik, Ph.D., ABPP, is a psychologist in private practice in East Aurora, NY. She is an alumni of UB’s Counseling Psychology program and provides psychotherapy and family therapy to children and adults. She has expertise in treating gifted, neurodiverse, and LGBTQ clients, as well as clients with developmental and medical concerns.
